Panessia Young: Sharing Her Love of Music and Inspiration in Every Song

Some people just have that thing that draws you to them and makes it hard for you to look away. Recording Artist Panessia Young is one of those people. 

Through her music she is able to share her heart and soul, and she doesn't allow things like genres to keep her from pursing the thing she loves: music.

In 2025 we've seen her take to the stage and the airwaves to share her gift with the masses, and looking ahead there's no stopping the musical, inspiration force that she is. 

 Panessia, it's been great following your journey on social media. What has it been like to see the way people have responded to your music?
 It has been such a great experience to see the great things people say about my music and how they are wanting to hear more of my music.

.When did you realize that music was something you wanted to pursue?
Well, Cyrus, after I graduated out of High School I stayed active in the music scene; and my mother encouraged me to keep on singing because she said I had a beautiful voice.

For those who are just discovering you, how would you describe your music and style to them?
I would describe my music and style as a very versatile style of music with a mixture of R&B Soul.

Along with sharing your performances on social media you also share inspiration with your audience. Why has that been important to you?
It's very important to share inspiration with my audience because some people who look up to me need positive encouragement, and I definitely want people to know that believing in themselves is a must. I was encouraged to believe in myself as well so I'm passing this on to others.

I love that, and I totally agree. Looking at your career so far what would you say has been the highlight?
The highlight of my music career so far is, when people contact me and say 'Hey I heard your song on 101.3,' The Big DM radio station; and they are so excited about it. I also love to hear aspiring artists and others in the business say I make them want to work hard at their music career. That is a Blessing.

What advice would you give aspiring artists or those looking to find their way?
My advice to aspiring artists is to tell them to never give up. This musical journey isn't easy, but it's definitely rewarding in the end. I would also tell them to stay focused on their marketing and promotions of their musical projects. That's very important, along with making sure their music has the copyrights and protections it needs.
